    Make sure to enroll in your first 30 days. Use the charts in Step 1 above as your guide to see when coverage begins! For example, if you are hired on April 10, you have until May 10 to enroll. However, coverage and payroll contributions will begin on May 1.

    After 30 days, you can’t enroll in or make any changes to benefits until the annual Open Enrollment period each fall, unless you have a Qualified Life Event.

    U.S.-based Crewmembers and adult dependents enrolled in JetBlue Medical can register and use Engage, a personalized wellness app designed to simplify your healthcare journey. Engage helps you find quality medical and behavioral health care and services (HELLO HEALTHY!), compare costs for care and manage your healthcare spend (HELLO MONEY!), and discover resources to help you meet your wellness goals (HELLO BALANCE!). Engage is free and confidential—available anytime and anywhere you go.

    Your Total Rewards Statement is an online, in-depth view of the rewards you get from JetBlue—pay, health and retirement benefits, work-life perks, travel, etc. It shows you a customized view of your information, and with the click of a button, you can optimize your Healthy Rewards and 401(k) contribution. Opty, our mascot, can be found throughout your statement to point out opportunities to OPTIMIZE your rewards. And the Opty checklist makes it easy to see these opportunities. Eligible Crewmembers can access this great tool anytime via phone, tablet or laptop.

    BlueCarpet is a FREE advocacy service available to all Crewmembers, designed to enhance what you get out of your BlueBenefits. You can get answers to healthcare questions, resolve claims and billing issues, or get help with finding providers and using Healthy Rewards, or connect with a nurse to receive guidance on a healthcare condition.

    A friendly HELLO for Full-Time Crewmembers.

    Your dedicated team at BlueCarpet will call you within two weeks of your date of hire to say “Hello”. Your BlueCarpet advocate will ask if you need any help deciding which Medical Option may be right for you and tell you about the many programs JetBlue offers to keep you well.


    BlueCarpet can also connect you to Navigator, our confidential Crewmember Assistance Program that provides access to support to help when life becomes overwhelming. You and your household members can get connected to free Counseling, Legal Advice and Financial Guidance.

    To access services, call BlueCarpet at 1-866-529-1675 and provide your information, then say “Navigator.”

    You can also visit to find providers, services and information on your own, or use Virtual Visits for video chat counseling sessions. Log on anonymously with the code: JetBlue or register and establish a Health Safe ID to view your specific benefit and claims information.


    When you do healthy activities, JetBlue rewards you with free money you can use to pay for eligible health expenses. For Crewmembers enrolled in JetBlue Medical, Healthy Rewards are deposited into your HRA (if enrolled in the Green Option) or your HSA (if enrolled in the Blue Option). For Pilots who are Part-Time or not enrolled in JetBlue Medical, a special Healthy Rewards Account will be opened for your dollars.
