    HEALTH ACCOUNTS THROUGH OPTUM FINANCIAL

    Note: Extension to submit 2020 claims for reimbursement.

    If you had a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA), or Limited Purpose Post-Deductible HRA (Pilots), balance remaining at the end of 2020, you can continue to use this amount to pay for health expenses from last year. Your remaining balance has been transferred to your Optum Financial account and can be used towards 2020 health expenses. The deadline for 2020 claims is 60 days after the end of the outbreak or March 31, 2022—whichever comes first. Submit your claims for reimbursement through the Optum Financial website.

    ConnectYourCare (CYC) is now Optum Financial.

    The name behind your Health Account is changing beginning in July – ConnectYourCare (CYC) is now part of Optum Financial. The CYC name and brand will be updated to Optum Financial on email and mail to you, their website and app, and throughout your online account portal.

    The unique features you experience today through CYC are staying. You will continue to:

    • Log into your account and submit claims the same way you do today. Your online account and mobile app features will not change. Quickly pay providers and get reimbursed. Conveniently upload documentation via web and app, and use it to initiate a claim.
    • Access the same library of educational resources and tools as today, including the “FSA and HSA for Dummies” series, videos and calculators.
    • Use the same mobile app.The name of the app will change from myCYC to OptumFinancial. If you already have it on your device, an update will be pushed out to reflect this change. Pro tip: Use the barcode scanner to check if a drugstore item is an eligible health expense.
    • Use your current payment card to conveniently pay providers for eligible healthcare expenses.
    • Contact the dedicated JetBlue customer care team 24/7 through both calls and chat.
    • Have one-click access to your Health Account through hellojetblue.com. Find the link by searching for “Optum Financial” under “View all Tools.” You won’t need to enter a login or password.
    • Have the same Health Savings Account (HSA) investment choices. Your existing investment allocation and the HSA investment fund lineup remain the same.

    Starting July, you will log in to Optum Financial using your HealthSafe ID. This security feature uses two-factor authentication and allows you to maintain a single username and password to access this site and myuhc.com through HealthSafe ID. Already have a HealthSafe ID? No need to set up a new one. You can use your existing login to sign into your Health Account. If you can’t remember your existing credentials, you can easily reset them. You will need your payment card when setting up your online access.

    Quick tips for using your Health Account

    Pay for eligible healthcare costs the way you prefer! There are three ways to pay:

    1. The easiest way to pay with funds from your Health Account is by using your Payment Card. Here’s how it works:
      • When you have an eligible expense at a healthcare provider or pharmacy, simply swipe your card, and the expense is automatically deducted from your balance.
      • Check your balance online or on the mobile app, Optum Financial (App store/Google Play), at any time or opt in to our automated text balances online.
      • Take a photo and upload documentation (like your Explanation of Benefits or itemized receipts) through the app or upload receipt files through the website.
        TIP: When using an itemized receipt, ensure it includes a description of service or item, amount of expense, patient name, provider name and address, and service date.
    2. Enter a payment request through the app or website, and Optum Financial will send the payment amount directly to your provider.
    3. Pay using personal funds, and then upload documentation through the app or website to request a reimbursement. Once it is approved, Optum Financial will reimburse the money you paid.
      TIP: Set up direct deposit so you can receive funds faster!

    • Ensure your payments and purchases are eligible! Review and download lists of eligible health expenses. You can also shop online for eligible health essentials through the Marketplace links under the “Tools and Resources” section.
    • On the go? Scan the bar code of items at the pharmacy using the Optum Financial app to determine if they are eligible!
    • If you’re enrolling and you’re not sure how much money to allocate to your Health Account, use the FSA Savings Calculator to see how much you can save or the HSA Growth Calculator (for the Blue Option) to get an idea of how your funds can grow over time!
    • Enrolled in the Blue Option? Designate your HSA beneficiary and learn about investment options to grow your HSA funds.
