    If you are enrolled in Cigna Dental and have a medical condition, you could get reimbursed for additional dental services through Cigna Dental’s Oral Health Integration Program (OHIP).

    The OHIP covers some services that help treat or prevent gum disease and tooth decay at no extra cost to you. You do not need to meet your Dental Option’s deductible to receive reimbursement for these services. However, any reimbursement you receive will apply to and is subject to your Option’s calendar year maximum.

    If you’re seeing a doctor for one of the following conditions, you could qualify for the OHIP:

    • Heart disease
    • Stroke
    • Diabetes
    • Pregnancy
    • Chronic kidney disease
    • Organ transplant
    • Head and/or neck cancer radiation
    • Rheumatoid arthritis
    • Sjogren’s syndrome
    • Lupus
    • Parkinson’s disease
    • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
    • Huntington’s disease
    • Opioid misuse and addiction

    Before seeing the dentist, you need to complete the online registration form, which you can find on mycigna.com. To access the form:

    1. Click on Forms.
    2. Under Your Plan Forms, choose Cigna Dental Oral Health Integration Program® Registration Form. Registration is required only once per qualifying medical condition.
