How account medical plans work.
The medical plans have two parts: PPO coverage and a plan account.
The PPO coverage under both options pays the same level of benefits for eligible healthcare services after you pay a deductible that JetBlue helps you fund. You get both in-and out-of-network coverage; however, when you use in-network providers, the plans pay higher benefits. Plus …
- Preventive care is covered 100% in-network, no deductible
- You can choose any participating doctor or specialist
- There are no referrals required
The plan account is used to help you pay the deductible and eligible healthcare expenses (coinsurance). With the Green Plan, JetBlue funds a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). With the Blue Plan, JetBlue and you (if you choose) fund a Health Savings Account (HSA).
