Your coverage begins the first of the month following your start date

When you enroll

(Life and Disability coverage subject to insurance carrier approval)

Medical, Dental and Vision coverage will end on the last day of the month following your final day of work with JetBlue, or when you end your coverage, either during Open Enrollment or through a Qualified Life Event.

* If you elect Voluntary Short Term or Long Term Disability, coverage begins after 90 days and may be subject to pre-existing conditions limits. To enroll, you must elect this coverage within 30 days of your hire date or during Open Enrollment.

Attention New Crewmembers:

You have 30 days from your date of hire to enroll in your benefits. Health coverage and payroll contributions begin the first of the month following your start date. If you do not enroll in health coverage immediately following your start date, retro-deductions may apply. For example, if you are hired on April 10, you have until March 10 to enroll. However, coverage and payroll contributions will begin on March 1.
